Headquartered in Moosburg, Germany, and operating on a worldwide scale, the Business Unit comprises the activities of the former adsorbents division of Süd-Chemie. Key markets served by the Business Unit include the consumer goods, packaging and foundry industries, as well water treatment. The activities are divided into the three business lines adsorbents, water treatment and performance packaging.

In the adsorbents area, we provide specialty chemicals derived from the natural clay mineral bentonite and based on the synthetic mineral hydrotalcite. Due to their high surface and strong binding properties, these products enhance products and processes in various industries. With our bleaching earths for the purification of vegetable oils, we are the world leader in a worldwide growing market. With our water treatment and water management solutions, we are a niche supplier in attractive markets in both developed and emerging economies. Our performance packaging line provides functional protective packaging solutions for pharmaceuticals and high-grade desiccants for equipment and consumer products.
